I went to Lake West Point the other day after not fishing it for many years and was completely lost. Virtually no docks to fish from. I was just curious on how to fish that lake. Lake Harding is where I fish most and am more familiar with it.

I fish West Point every spring (and sometimes during the summer as well).  Fish the main lake and secondary points with a carolina rig (I use a june bug finesse worm).  Sassy shad and other minnow baits also work.  Keep a rattle trap handy in case hybrids start schooling.  It's a good lake, good luck!
