Need A Few New Largemouth Bass Fishing Spot In The Concord, New Hampshire Area

Featured Replies

Hey guys I am new to the site. I am a young angler and I love the sport of fishing. I haven't had much luck this year and I am looking for some new spots in the Concord, NH area. I have a kayak which I fish out of but I also fish off shore a lot. If you guys could tell me about and where a few "hot spots" are where there is some quality bass fishing and let me know what you throw at these spots that would be great! Thank you!

The are plenty of fish in the NHTI Pond.

Turtle pond , Crooked pond - Loudon

Merrimack river at the NHTI Launch -- go straight out into the slow water and fish all that area across from the launch and straight back around the corner.   They are there.

Pinnacle pond if you can find access.

Horseshoe Pond has some

These are some.   The river has some really good fishing up at exit 17 also.   there are 2 set backs around the big bridge.   Both have railroad bridges at the entrance to the big river.   Fish those 2 areas.   current can be fast if you get into the open river at times.

I find it easy to fish both these areas in the set backs where the rivers come in.

I should mention the river has a lot of Smallmouth Bass and Big Pickerel.

also read thru the Southern NH thread.
