Curado 300 Vs Daiwa Lexa 300

Featured Replies

I'm looking for a high end heavy duty baitcaster for big swimbaits. I prefer a low profile over a round reel. Which reel is better? It will be on a dobyns champion 806HSB.

I've got a Lexa 300 I've been very happy with, that said I got a great deal on it and don't own a Curado 300.

I've handled and fished both, and honestly I think I'd be more than happy with either.  For the price I got the Lexa at it was a no brainer (scheel ' s price matched a online retailer at more than 25% off retail).

If you need/want the different gear ratio than 6:2:1 the Lexa is the way to go.  Otherwise they are very similar in spec's.
