how is the best way to attatch the eyes for the trebles to be attatched on the cranks. ive actually not started but your work fascinates me and im plannin on starting to make cranks, i saw you said that for a pattern the onion bags do well, the only prob i have is rattles, treble connectors, and lips, what do you recommend me doin to get started, maybe lipless topwater or something?

There are several ways to do this, an intrernal wire harness, brass or steel screw eyes or you can make your own twisted wire eyes. Jann's Netcraft, Staminia and Barlows all carry screw eyes in brass and stainless steel, plus split rings and some lips. I make most of my lips from Lexan, do not use plexiglass.

Below is a picture of a Bagley bait to give you an idea of how they make them. Cut apart some wood baits and see how they are made by different makers, it will be a big help to you if you decide to make your own.

The best method for attachment of the treble is to use a split ring.
