Planning to make a trip to your state in early Aug to fish the Miss river around Little Falls.   I know the river is high right now but what are the best water levels

for fishing the river in that area.   Thanks in advance.

The best is when it's LOW.  The fish all pile in the holes with low water.  Whats going on in Little Falls in August?

We are suppose to go up there and fish the first week of Aug.

Water levels have dropped considerably from what they were a month ago. I don't know much about the Little Falls area but I can tell you that at my favorite spots near the cities, on the Mississippi, have produced smallmouth with zoom 6" lizards texas rigged with a 1/8th oz bullet weight and clear bead. But like most rivers almost any spot is going to be different on any day. Best of luck and enjoy your trip!
