Getting The Feel For Tournaments?

Featured Replies

I have fished little tournaments localy and i have place 1st twice and 2nd 3 times within 3 years they are just for the public to have fun.  I love fishing but i also have started a career as an electrician so i don't get to just go out and do what ever. So i am haveing to find a way to move up a little.  I really don't wanna go big i just wanna go out and have friendly but tough competition.  I have a bass boat but no insurance on it so i will probably have to be a co angler.  I wanna know what all you guys have done to tournament fish but still work a full time job and don't have all the money in the world.  I have checked out TBF but it just seems like it takes alot.  When it comes down to it i wanna see what i really got without haveing to commit just maybe 2 or three tournaments.  My hat goes off to all of you who dedicate all you free time to these tournament trails.

ABA, BFL, depending on where you are Anglers in Action, local clubs.

Your best bet would be the BFL depending on were you are located
