No Duckett rods here.  My Abu rods are Villains.  Definitely heavier than rated.  My Falcon rods are Originals, Experts and one Cara.  MHF Falcon rods are rated 1/4-3/4 oz.  Some other brands often list 1/4-1 oz. and so should be a little more versatile.  I'd like to suggest the Fenwick Elite Tech Smallmouth line for a couple of your rods if you can find them on sale.  MSRP is $10 over your limit.  In particular I can suggest the 6'10" MF, 6'9" MXF and 6'10" MH-MF casting rods.  I have a 6'9" MHF coming, but obviously no experience fishing it yet.  It wasn't a model that rang my bell, but I couldn't pass up the deal being offered.  Already have several 7' and 7'2" MHF rods.  In my opinion the Smallmouth series are great rods for the money.  I like my ***, but the handle is a bit too thin for me to make one-handed casts.  Not a problem since I am almost always casting with two hands.  :teeth:  It is another excellent rod for the money.

I've heard good things about the ghost, but I'm concerned about the durability of those ss guides with chrome inserts.  I had a rod that had guides like that (not micro) and they grooved and frayed my braid.

Haven't noticed the line fray yet but will watch for it.

I like the elite techs just dont see a flipping rod in the bunch and flipping is 50% of my tounament game and jerkbaits are the other half cause my tounaments are in febuary.but also throw weightless senkos and some cranks
