Looking for a decent lake close to home (30 minutes from Norman).  Tired of fishing Thunderbird, and hate the hour drive to better lakes.

 

Anybody ever fished Wes Watkins or the Shawnee Twin Lakes?  Wes Watkins sounds like it may be worth a shot.  Any others I should be looking at?

    I would definitely try Wes Watkins, Although it may be a little small for your pontoon. Idk if you bank fish or not but there is a great pond in Norman that the city stocks. Its in the sutton wilderness area on 12th and e robinson. Perfect for a float tube.
