Belly Weight

What do you guy's use for a belly weight.  Do you have to have one, and what size drill bit do you use?

Thanks a million.

Here is the tutorial that I followed and sure did help me. http://www.tackleunderground.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5190

Also, I had to use a 1/2 inch drill bite on the lure I used. I had to buy it since I didn't have one. But make sure the drill bite is as wide as the weight you are using. I would suggest going with a small weight. That was the one mistake I did. I used too heavy of a weight. Try a 1/8 ounce egg sinker. Of course it depends on how big the lure is. But I would suggest a belly weight mainly to keep the bait righted while sitting in the water. Baits laying on their side just don't look good in the water.

Good luck.
