I have read about that. Too bad you will hardly be able to tell the difference between that and a largemouth. I wonder how many other species of bass have eluded detection.

So true. Maybe theirs more bass species out there that we don't know about.

Who knows, The Choctaw bass and the largemouth basses genetics might be close enough to create hybrids that are even harder to tell apart..  :dazed-7:

And we shall call it "Chawky" as in "I caught a Chawky today"

It seems to look different than the other bass, it seems to have bigger eyes and a yellow tail
