Home made spinnerbait question

Featured Replies

I have gotten into pouring my own lead spinner baits. I can't believe how addicting it is. With all of the worries with lead i was wondering if anybody knew if tungsten was as easy to work with or if it is even available. If so where can I get it

Thanks

Jason

I don't poor my own lead, but I think there was a topic here a while back asking this similar question, and I believe that the response was that the temperatures to melt Tungsten were so high that it was not feasible and very dangerous.  There may have been an issue with fumes as well, being more dangerous than lead.
