Muck Boot Company Supports Hsus

Featured Replies

Does anyone else find it odd that a company in the business of making and selling boots to hunters and farmers would support a borderline fraudulent organization that is openly anti-agriculture, anti-hunting, and (even worse) anti-fishing?

Wow. Now that's ticking off the wrong group of people. Wouldn't want to be in their shoes.

If you want to protest the Muck Boot company, you can send me any size 11-11.5 Muck Boots you may have. That'll show em.

Sorry, i have 13's.  I'm not rich enough to toss boots, anyway.  When my Mucks wear out, I'll probably take a look at Lacrosse instead.

Sometimes companies have to send money to places they don't want to just to keep those folks quiet... i.e. hush money.

Crazyjoe...you can't go wrong w/the Alpha Burlys.

The Humane Society and the Humane Society of the United States are two different groups.  The latter is anti-hunting, anti-fishing, etc as was mentioned.  The Human Society are the ones who run shelters and such.

A lot of people confuse the two and end up donating to the latter when they really want to support their local animal shelters.  Did the HSUS intend it to be this way?  I don't know.

If the average person doesn't realize the difference, I can't blame Muck for making the same mistake (if it was a mistake).  The FB page is no longer up, so I figure that it may indeed have been a case of mistaken identity.
