Need Some Bass Fishing Spots For Miami, Fl

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I live in North Miami Beach and I am always looking for some good spots to fish for bass.

Anyone have any spots that they would recommend where you won't get in trouble for fishing and there is near by parking?

Places that I have fished

Taylor Park (North Miami)

Tropical Park by Bird Road

Welcome to BR. I didn't see your intro in the intro section of the forums. Updating your profile a bit may also help a bit as well. As far as spots, I will give you areas to focus on. Since you live in NMB, Snakecreek canal is the first area that comes to mind. I would recommend Greynolds Park but I think they don't allow fishing in there if I am not mistaken. But, last time i was there was more than 15 yrs ago. My last suggestion would be Google Earth. There are alot of hidden gems as far as spots with Google Earth. Good Luck.

Thanks! You can fish in Greynolds East but it's so cramped there with one pier and everyone trying to fish off it LOL

I have tried Snake Creek but not much luck.

Greynolds East is brackish. Unless you fish the canal to the West. I was referring to Greynolds West or the main park. There is freshwater on the golf course side. Again, its been years that i have gone there. There are so many areas and places to fish you have to pick a section and work the area until you find productive areas. Miami-Dade County is a really big place with tons of spots.... lol.

Ahh, yeah. I only got into bass fishing 1 year ago, now Greynolds just refer you to the brackish side. Oh well, like you said, just have to try other places
