Went out on Greyknoll lake (Miami Gardens, South Florida) around noon with a cheap $2 popper from BPS in baby bass color.. The bass were hitting it like crazy! By the end of the day I had caught some nice 3+ lb largemouths and the popper was beaten up! My friend decided to throw a KVD squarebill in the bright yellow color, didn't get hit all day until we were trolling before heading in. He landed a solid 5. Good day!

I love using poppers. I have one lake especially that I go to, and man that seems like all those bass want is my Don Iovino poppers.

 

Went to a different lake yesterday.....they turned up their noses at my poppers....goofy fish. I'd eat a popper if I was them
