Carrot Stix Micro Guide Worth It?

Featured Replies

Hey I'm new to the forum and have a quick question I'd like to ask you guys. I have a friend that offered to sell me one of his carrot stix and was curious of your opinions on them. I've been fishing forever but am not that familiar with them.

I've got a couple of the micro guide carrot sticks and I haven't broken them yet.  I'm pretty gentle on my equipment and I break maybe one rod a year old so.  All my buds who talked me into getting the carrot sticks (I have two of the Wild Black ones) have busted theirs.  Apparently customer service front he Carrot Stix people isn't the finest.

My opinion is that they are very light and sensitive rods.   The experience of my buds is that they are fragile.  I haven't broken mine yet.

Well he's selling it to me for $45 and I'm in need of an new bait casting rod so I think It will be fine I'm not to hard on my fishing gear.

If you like them. ....get it. As long as you're sure that your buddies aren't the REASON their sticks are breaking. You know that you have to baby them. ...and they obviously don't, that's why they're breaking them. So if its one your buddy hasn't had the time to compromise yet, then sure. ...get it!
