Slow Days

Featured Replies

Hey all!

Went fishing last evening around 6:45 at a pond and i stayed until 10:00

I fished almost every lure i own and i didn't get a signal hit nor did i see a single bass.... This spot normally has a decent population of bass, and know they are still in here.

This morning i went again for a few hours and managed to get a small bass on a spinner. I saw a 3 lber but he wouldnt take anything... otherwise i didnt see any other bass....

What's going on?!?!?!!?!?

On really slow days after I fish a bunch of lures and nothings working I will switch to something I have the most confidence/expertise in and just fish the mess out of it.... Like say you are confident and good at fishing frogs for example, just find some good cover and fish it the whole rest of the day and you'll have a better chance of getting a bite.
