Found a new use for powder paint

Featured Replies

Hey guys I just got done experimenting with some powder paint I recently picked up. Now i'm tryin to powder coat everything I can get my hands on, but I thought that putting it on bullet style weights for plastic fishing might be something. Tell me what you think

Looks great! I have long used painted bullets. Good job.

Hey, those things look GREAT!! Nice job. :)

I think that the powder paint will work on nearly any metal that you can heat to a surface temp. of 300-350 degrees. Then a quick "swoosh" in the powder and away you go. I think painting your weights can only add to the whole presentation.  Well done.

They look good.

Just remember to bake them in the oven for a little bit. This

will help harden the paint. If not, they will chip anytime they

hit something underwater.
