I'll be fishing GTP this weekend, I've heard some really good things about it, but this will be my first time so I wanted to get some advice from anyone that has fished the area.  I saw another post that spoke about it briefly, but I wanted to get more information specifically on GTP.  What is biting this time of year?  What lures should I use?  Crank? Jig? Plastics? Live?  Any and all advice is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance for your help!

    Wow what a great bass fishing resource this forum is!! Thanks for all the great input...  Hating on the new guy, I see how it is!

     

    Ended up doing pretty well at GTP, fished the south side of the island with some plastics and they were hittin near the grass by the boat launch.
