What A Day

Featured Replies

My brother n law and I fished a small pond behind his house on some common ground. I  never had a day like this before for bass. In just 3 hours, from 3 pm to 6pm, I myself caught 25 bass. Everyone about a pound and very spunky. They hit everything I threw at them. Jigs, plastic worms. grubs, lizards, and every color.

Nothing big but what a blast.

When it's HOT it's Hot. Congrats

Enjoy those days... because when its slow its the complete opposite .... lol

Fill the sink with dinks!  I like it.  I had a similar day on ultra light recently.  I really needed it to as I've been targeting big fish all month with only one 5lb.+ to show for it and very few in the 4lb. catagory either.  I left the big baits/gear at home and stuck to 4in' worms and baits under 1/4oz.  You would have had to beat me silly to get the smile I had on my face for a couple of days off.  Glad to hear it Mac.
