Inline Buzzbaits Vs. Standard Buzzbaits?

I'm not sure but it seems that an inline buzzbait is similar to a bucktail lure for muskies? If that's the case what are the benefits of an inline buzzbait or a standard buzzbait over each other? I was reading the ad for an inline buzzbait and it says planes quicker, more durable, and is more weedless then a standard buzzbait. If that's true, why don't more people use inline buzzbaits?

What are the pros and cons of an inline buzzbait and standard buzzbait?

I exclusively use in-line buzz baits for the reasons you list. Plus with the added benefit that some employ of the swing-head feature make them virtually weedless. I also prefer the head/hook to be inline with the blade. To me, that makes it easier for a good hook up. The only downside to me is the clacker/noise maker some of the traditional baits have. But even that's being addressed with Molix's new in-line.

I tried in-lines and what I liked was the control, you can practically steer it in what direction you want to go. The thing I don't like is it seems to draw less strikes than a traditional bait, at least in my waters it happens. Ther are a lot of times when the fish grab the buzzbait from under the water without breaking the surface, that is the "toilet flush" strike we see, well here, when they are hitting a buzzbait like that, you won't draw a strike on the in-line, I attribute that to the fact they have to break the surface to get it and that little deal is what keeps me using a traditional buzzbait because they often will just grab it from under the bait so you want a bait will get bit if the fish are drawn to, but are reluctant to break the surface.
