Im in the market for a few $50 - $60 rod and have been looking at both the Arid and Vengeance. Basically I've become extremely tight on cash and would like to pick up a few to fill in a few holes in my arsenal since I regrettable sold off some equipment a long while back. I'm looking to use a 6'6" m for topwaters and a 7' mh for jig and worm. So I would like to know what all of you have to say about them in general terms.

Go to your local walmart and see if they have any of their Daiwa Jupiters for clearance.  They are the Walmart only version of the Aird.  I have the 6'6" M and it is a phenominal jerkbait/topwater rod, it says "Fast Action" but it's a pretty slow "Fast".  I paid like $30 for mine from the clearance isle.  I saw some that were still there the last time I was in there.
