Went to a new to me lake on Friday. It was around 68°, and the water maybe lower 60s upper 50s.Threw out everything cranks, spinners, jerks, top waters, and nothing was biting until I rigged up a Black/Blue Strike King Hack Attack jig with a Black/Blue Rage Chunk, and just hoped it off the bottom. Felt the lightest tap and swung for the fences. Not the biggest, but made my day or the couple of hours I fished.

Almost a 2 and a halfer that's about the average size I've been catching. My PB is a little over 2 and a half. Anything 2 lbs and up in Jersey is a darn nice catch. If I catch a 3lbr and up I'll pee my panties.

I know they are out there, I've seen them watching me.

If that is the average size bass you have been catching then you are doing something right! And I like the sound of 2lb and up being a nice catch in NJ. makes me feel better about all the 1-1.5lb bass I catch 

I fish from the bank so I've caught my share of dinks, but lately these past couple of months I've been pulling in the bigger ones. I was fishing with one dude over in Rockaway off of Green Pond Rd, and he pulled in a 5 lbr. I was like man that could of been me. So I know they are there.
