novice bass fisher here...getting frustrated with the number of ponds in the upstate that are either private property or if there not, they are impossible to get too. Just seeing if anybody knows of some good spots and just general advice for bank bass fishing this time of year in the upstate. thanks

Where in the upstate are you? I'm in mountain rest and have found a few nice ponds on wma or forest service land. They are kinda tough to get to but I just pack light and bust out the hike to get it over with. Check with your local DNR office and maybe they can help you out also. Also check out any local rivers with public access
