LC Live LVR

Featured Replies

I've been thinking about lures to use on my spring trip to Ontario, Canada during the last week of May. A bunch of posts have stated that lipless cranks are great in the springtime for prespawn bass. I've been looking in Cabelas catalog at the LC Live LVR in bleeding chrome. I'd like to hear what others who might have used this lure have to say. Do you think it's a good choice for prespawn smallies?

I had one (lost it).  It had a very nice action, but must be retrived at a medium speed or faster to get the desired tail action.  I'd say go for it...most smallies probably haven't seen it.

Im not too fond of them to be honest. I think youd be better off with their regular LVRs. My most productive still to date is Yo-Zuri Rattle N' Vibes. Ive tried numerous domestic and JDM offerings trying to find a more productive one for me but have yet to find one. Try their Hardcore DRUM for pressure situations I like that one a lot as well. Spros Aruku Shads are an honerable mention also, some actually prefer these over the ones mentioned above.
