I went down to the oklahoma river (in okc)on my lunch today and got skunked. I saw a few fish hitting the surface and i know for sure there are hybrid bass in there. I was fishing on the tailwaters of a dam. I started with a fluke fished weightless, spinner bait, buzzbait, zara chugnspook and a zara pooch. Nothing. It was my first time fishing a river so i was out of my element. Anyone else have any experience on this river?

I've never fished it, but I can't imagine there's much in it after they drained it. 

Probably gizzard shad and carp if you saw surface activity and didn't get bit
