What Has Happens With Mepps Flying "c" ?

Featured Replies

I've recently bought some of Mepps flying "C".

Spindle wire is bending like a pretzel after couple casting.  It is something new for Mepps.

They are were kind of icon of quality before. Made in China?

I just looked at a spinner again for first time with serious thoughts yesterday and all my spinners from 20 years ago look great. They look easy to make, and I know that I import and sell 10 spinners like a rooster tail for $5.00 so I am sure Mepps is paying pennies and I can't get over the price of the musky sizes which are not much larger and just have hair?

House brands are usually good quality and from same Oem as probably Luhr Jensen and Blue fox who are under same umbrella with VMC. Heck, I can make a top quality $20 spinner for a buck or two......I need to get mepps to tell me what that buyant body that floats is made of on the inline I now love. I guess I should have been using these, I just filled out my box with beetle spins and road runners yesterday.
