We hit the river for a few hours today, panfishing. Got between 40 - 60 crappie, yellow & white perch and bluegill. Of particular note is the size of this particular gill:

Like I said in the lead in, you just never know on a river system. I love it!

Sounds like a fun outing

Some times I fish a river and think I have caught variety, then I go to the beach for a week and realize what variety is! Nice fish!
