Featured Replies

I like that first one!  It is very nicely colored!  Did you airbrush it?  I think I need to get out the airbrush, and paint me some frogs!  ;)

I just did my first lure, a popper, and it is pretty good, but I don't have the paint yet...  I was thinking about going with a color scheme like that first one...  I really like how you did that paint!  I give you some props!  I think it took me almost 3 hours!  lol  I got good results though...  Had the materials been balsa, it would have been about an hour!  ;)

Hey! where do you guy's get your paters to carve from.I am a whittler also and

want to try my hand at some lures.then give them to my nephew as he can air brush.

If a pater is a thing that holds the wood...I just used my hand?...haha

...and the addiction begins...keep at it, save these lures, use them to lay the groundwork for the next ones you build and try to make each "next" lure better than the last,... and above all enjoy the creativity.
