Rod building cats,

Is the shikari 5 power a true heavy, or do you feel like they are more of a MH?

I just received my new rod, and it is not what I wanted so I am having another one built (no charge). Are there blanks rated above how they perform?

    Shikäri was bought out by ATC (Advanced Tubular Composites), this last winter. The original Shikäri 5 power was a XtraHeavy blank. ATC has made a lot of changes in the blanks since they purchased the company. I have an original 7' SHX 5 power and use it as my jig rod. All of the blanks that ATC list in their catalog only show the tip actions, and no power ratings other than line and lure.
