St. Croix Or Duckett Ghost?

Featured Replies

I'm getting a revo sx and want to pair it up with either a medium powered duckett ghost or a st. croix primere cranking rod. I have heard good things about the duckett's but need info on the st. croix, i hear from a lot of people that the st. croix brand is on point but i'd like to know what anyone on here would choose and why?

the st. croix is only 20$ more than the duckett.

I like St. Croix. I have no experience with the Duckett,  but I don't really like the way they look. I like St Croix stuff because I can feel the quality. If the $20 is a deal breaker though, get the Duckett.

thats the thing I'm willing to spend the extra 20 for the quality.

What size cranks and kind of cover and length rod you looking for.

There is a St Croix Avid on sale for $108 is 6'6" MH Moderate 3/8-1oz lure. Seems most like a little longer rod for cranks though.

You wanting Medium duckett so this Avid may be too much power but just ponting it out to you.
