Daiwa has a rod over multiple models that is rated for 1/2oz to 2 oz with fast taper and typically heavy power usually 7'4".

I'm looking at old model zillion that is X heavy but essentially same rod. Question is, for those who have the frog rods...how do you like them? My current punch rod is a h 13 *** xf and it feels underpowered and too fast for punching.

I also want a rod I can toss small hard swimbait like shellcracker g2. The fast taper seems more forgiving for trebles. I've been throwing the g2 on my h *** and while it is rated for 1.5oz lures it really is topped out and I find it difficult to cast.
