Any Experience With This Megabass Spinning Rod?

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any experience with this rod?  I am looking at a new higher end spinning rod and saw this.  While I am not a fan of the 5pc construction, I have a hard time believing that Megabass would put out a junker rod in the $400 range.  The fact that is does break down for travel would be ideal though and would allow me to keep a rod/reel with me at all times.  Although the travel aspect is nice, i would still rather have a solid all around spinning rod.  Does anyone have any experience with the rod and if so, would you suggest it as a primary spinning outfit?

Thanks.
