im kinda new to lure making but most of the cranks ive bought have rattles in them which i like, is there anyway that any of you know of to put rattles in or on cranks that you would build?

Sure you can, insert glass worm rattles cross ways on the bait.  A little wood putty in the hole and it is ready for paint.
