Any Publishers Out There?

Featured Replies

Every once in a while I throw a shout out to see if anyone is in the publishing business. A few years ago I wrote a series of 3 children's books about bass fishing titled "Bass in the Grass". They are fun, easy to read books targeting ages 3-11 area. I included safety tips as well as fishing tips.  I sent manuscripts to around 20 different publishers without much luck (typical from what I hear from other writers). Well it's always been in the back of my mind how much I'd like to see them on paper. So, I thought I'd throw it out here. Anyone with some connections?

And at this point I'm not even looking for royalties, just would like to see them published.

Smoke, how about venturing over to the library and look at some of the newer children's books and write down the publishers' information?

Or, look at some of the bass fishing books and look at their publishers' names.

Publishing is a very closed fraternity.  It is very difficult to enter the fraternity but once you do you can have other writings published.

There are publishers that you pay to publish your books but then you are stuck with them with no distribution system in place other than the Internet.

All I can do is wish you luck and hopefully one day you will publish your books.
