Im decieding between the HDS 7 Gen 3 and the Elite 9 with Chirp

 

 

 

The elite 9 Chirp with GPS runns about $1200

The HDS 7 Gen 3 with LSS runs about $1500

The HDS 8 Gen 2 with LSS is about  $1300

 

 

What do you guys recommend and why??

 

 

Im torn between all of them.

 

like the Chirp on the HDS 7 Gen 3 and Elite 9

I like how the HDS7 and HDS 8 can be networked.

I like the HDS Gen 3 Touch Screen.

I like the Elite 9 Screen Size.

Once you learn how to use Side Scan, all the other stuff will seem elementary.

The bigger the display with that technology, the better.

Given the three you list, I agree with Wayne.  But, take a look at the Gen3 Touch 9 - it's worth the extra money.  Touch screens are much more user-friendly, and I find the 7-inch screens too small for multi-pane views.
