I took a job with Union Pacific RR a few months ago and looks like I'm going to be forced to work in North Platte NE for a year or so. What the bass fishing like around the area? Seems like the only info I can find is about walleye, surely there's got to be some decent places around to catch a few bass.

    Check out lake mcconaughy for smallmouth, stripers and white bass.
