Anybody fish Big barbee chain lakes or tippy? I live in muncie but go up there alot in spring in summer with my step dad to fish. But I never pulled out any big bass. All around 2lbs or less. I might not be in right spots, so if anyone knows any spots love to hear. Or has the lakes been over fished? Not to familiar with that area so be great to know. Thanks

I've not been up that way in a while.  Been concentrating on Salamonie and Mississinewa. 

 

We have shorter growing seasons in Indiana.  We do have big bass, but finding them takes a bit more work.  In Florida and Texas, they catch 3-5lb bass regularly.  We have 1-2lb bass the same age.

 

I'm finding that the bigger ones are usually in farm and other private ponds, and are just plain hard to fool in the reservoirs.

 

I'll try to remember to ask around.
