Soft Plastic Recipes

Featured Replies

I'm trying to get my recipe for soft plastics down to a science but I would like to hear what other people put in their's. I use 1 cup of plastic. 10-12 drops of dye, 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp of softner. 1Tsp crayfish oil. 1/8 tsp glitter.

The beauty behind pouring your own baits is no ones are the same!

Ive never poured a bait with salt, just because I prefer my plastics to float.  That being said I do need to get better @ Fishing with senkos, I have some of the sinking additive and I may go down that route when I decide to pour them.

What baits are you making? For stick try the soft sinking plastic and 1/4 cup of salt to 2 cups of plastic. I also found that 35 drops of color works the best.
