I have a Lowrance Mark 4X on the front of my boat right now. It has DI and GPS. I am looking for another one to put up there since I want to move that one back by the driver seat. I am mainly looking at the Humminbird 197C and the Lowrance Elite 3X as options. Has anyone used these or have any similar options? I am also interested in Humminbird's Helix series, I just cannot find anything on them review wise.

The Helix series is new since about the first of December for some models, you won't see many reviews about them since there hasn't been much usage.

"Ben" check out bass pro on their elite 4 and 5 hdi models. Lowrance has come out with the new Chirp version on all their fishfinders and are discounting the older models extremley low to make room for the newer models. Last week i picked up a new Lowrance hdi elite 7 but i saw they had the elite 5 hdi for 299$ with free installation, a sun cover, and GPS disc. These things are all pretty easy to install but i tell you theres nothing like FREE professional installation. Good luck
