Cast for Cash and advertisements so close to the end of the final with in today killed me. I feel bad for Casey and Bobby as they sit there waiting to see which ones life is about to change forever. 

I agree. Everything was moving along nice and smooth, and then they totally killed it with all of the extras.

The guy misses for 100 Grand, gets a second shot, missed that, but still walks away with a $5000 check plus rods & reels! As far as timing, I guess the whole thing lasted 8 minutes maybe.

The intermission was bland as was the dog shows..

I agree about the intermission...boring and pointless. Still fun to watch overall though.

That pitch from that distance looked pretty difficult, can't blame him. 

 

Also, you could tell the crowd was very bored with the dog show as they guy kept asking them to "make more noise" lol.

 I wonder if they told him he had to use a baitcaster and flip it?  I could have made it easy with my spinning reel/rod with an over hand cast.  If they told him he had to flip it with a baitcaster then I say Berkley set the guy up to fail.   

He got 5K and rods and reels for being picked. Do you really think that anyone could have hit that 6" hole in one pitch?

  Was it only a 6" hole?  I was only half paying attention to it.  I thought the hole was much larger.
