I need some help if youre willing to give it.   I am getting ready to fish the James River for largemouth (near Henrico County). we are putting out at Deep Bottom. I've never fished the river for large mouth. I've lit up some small mouth last year thanks to 2 good friends. I live in Va Beach, VA so I don't have a clue where to start. Any ideas for lures, presentation? i'll be heading up there 3/21/15. I appreciate any help!

Will be watching the LSU baseball game tonight so I can discuss baits, tactics and places to consider fishing.

I met Sean yesterday and gave him a good amount of my tackle to provide the equipment he will need.  He's got a majority of my productive soft plastics as well.  So, let him know Sam, and hopefully Sean will put some fish in the boat his first tourney.

I've always done well there with Zoom Finesse Worms, Senkos, square bills, and spinnerbaits with some chartreuse in them. Good luck in your tournament there
