Lowrance Mark 4

Featured Replies

hey yall have any of u guys tried out the mark 4? I want to upgraDE from the little fishfinder beside my windshield on my boat. Any thing is better than what I have right now.

Purchased the Lowrance Elite 4 HDI last month at Cabelas.  They had on sale for $220.  Haven't used it much as it is still cold but it seems like a nice unit. Easy to set up.

Iv got a mark 5x forsale hahaha 100 buck is I little bit bigger. How big is your boat?

Ive got the Mark 4 b&w version, its a great FF, has excellent clarity and resolution

buy an elite 5 hdi combo (gps, sonar and down imaging) right now for as low as $299 as they are dumping them cause new ones have CHIRP.  The price includes the dual transducer.  Check out available frequencies for it.  Some are offering free cover and SD card with map.  BPS had them at that price.  They were $500 in fall of 2013.  Good unit.  Has mapping capability with Insight Genesis feature.  Can load one micro SD card (like Navionics) with adapter for slot. Sonar down imaging overlay feature.  Back tracking.  Comes with built in maps but not real detailed like down to one foot or tight ridge lines.  Navionics card does better.  OR buy the Elite 4.  $199.  good unit.  all from Lowrance.  Though I must say the Humingbird Onix looks real good to me.  ( I dont have any iPilot type trolling motor).

Hope that helps

Anything you put on the Tracker will be fine.

Don't forget Raymarine.
