kb here  these are all the wood rod handles i have made so far  the one with the feather in it i have been useing for the past two days sure do like  it dont slip  when wet, ligther than cork and the handle must be the correct length   can use one hand to cast a average distance  then when i want to sling it out there can use two hands

That wood looks great. I have couple of fly rods with wood handles that I love. What kind of woods are you using, looks like some purple heart in there.

Lookin' good!  I'm more into contemporary designs, but I can respect some nice work.  

nice work.  about how long do you spend on one of those?  and how are you doing it, my guess would be on a lathe??
