Looking to upgrade electronics. Have the Humminbird 788 HD/GPS and Helix 5 DI/GPS both offered at same price, installed. Any thoughts? Again, appreciate the knowledge.

    The 788ci HD Combo is 2D only.

    The 788ci HD DI Combo is equivalent to the Helix 5 DI GPS, both would have 2D sonar and Down Imaging.

     

    I would choose the Helix to get Down Imaging.
