Ratchet Washer

Featured Replies

Hey everyone,

I'm going to build my own clamp for my transducer on my trolling motor. Does anyone know where I can pick up or order some Ratchet Washers so I can lock the transducer in place. I have a lowrance unit, if that helps.

Thanks,

Jeff

Are you sure you want it to lock down? If you bump something, you would want it to slip on it's bracket so it does not break off.

That's true. I guys I could just throw two regular washers on either side of it and just clamp it down tight.

IF you have the U shaped metal transom bracket, just bend the ends out some so they match the trolling motor shape and put a hose clamp through the screw slots.

Use the same parts you have.

Then after you break off the transducer, you can get the Transducer Shield and Saver mount to make it a puck.
