i live in florida and its the transition Between winter and spring. in A few weeks I have a tournement. The lake is clear, has submerged grass and thick and sparse weedlines. I am pretty familiar with the lake and know what generally works but I am gunna pre-fish once more, and want to see what you guys suggest. Thanks!

I would personally start at the inside weed line. If nothing is there go to the outside they still might be staged deeper and not moved up that far yet. You will get a lot better advice then that though that's just what I would do, Goodluck at your tournament!

What lake is it?

Sounds like a good time and lake for throwing a lipless crankbait in the submerged grass. If they are shallow and active I would throw a swim jig if they aren't active I would pitch something to the shallow weedlines or any kind of cover mixed with it up there.

I would start deep(15-25) and work my way in...unless you see some beds then I would reverse the strategy
