Went to the lake and I tried and tried and tried and tried to get a bass on top water but I just couldn't.... I knew the fish were shallow and getting ready to spawn, I could see plenty of schools of 1-2 lb bass moving up and down the shoreline.

So I went and grabbed my ML and some marabou jigs and caught about 10 or so small bass sight fishing but man was it fun! I had to fish it SLOW though, I was basically deadsticking it, I probably had just as many take and spit the bait out as I caught...

Sounded like fun!! Always fun to catch a bunch of bass.
