I'm from Nebraska and we're planning on heading down to KS this year to fish for some crappies.  I know there are quite a few guys from KS on the board and was wondering if they could give any advice on what time of the year the fish start going and what lakes to try.

 

Right now we're planning on the 2nd week in April and leaning towards Kirwin or Glen Elder.

 

Any advice?
