Daiwa Lexa 300 Power Handle Question

Featured Replies

Can you make casts with the power handle vs the standard double paddle handle?

I tried a power handle on my Shimano Cardiff 301 and it did not cast right.  It would engage when making a cast.

I didn't know they made a powerhandle for the 300 size Cardiff. If it was an after market add on, then it may have not balanced right and caused the reel to click into gear.  The Lexa 300's that come with the power handles are balanced for that reel and to be able to cast so you shouldn't have any issues.

Cool, thanks for the quick reply.  I'm about to pull the trigger on the Lexa 300 left hand reel with power handle.

The Cardiff with the power handle wasn't balanced right.  I brought the reel to Shimano in Irvine and well they told me the same thing you did.  The power handle came from another round reel and I just thought it would work.
