i had a old  topwater mouse  and  a few  beat up frogs so i  rigged up  a new frog  ,,i was bored  heres the result  ,,,,it has caught a few so far

how do you keep the hooks from penetrating the mouse body preventing hook sets. All of my mouses do this. The legs of that lure I have some of those and they work but I just hate how it feel on the rod and the action it makes. I prefer scum frogs but they dont seem to last more than one outing

never had the hooks  penatrate body before ,the  legs are offa stanley ribbit frog  ;D
